Things To Do In Cornwall
Cornwall is a GREAT place to do lots of things - or to do absolutely nothing!
Come to Cornwall to: take advantage of our many hiking trails, kayak or canoe on the Housatonic River’s white water rapids, cross-country ski, visit a wheel-chair accessible bog, fish in our rivers, ponds and streams, ski or snowboard at Mohawk Mountain, take grave rubbings in Civil War era (and earlier) cemeteries, or simply take in a great view of a farmer baling hay or horses grazing, or the splendor of an autumn afternoon or watch the people and their vehicles as they traverse the covered bridge in West Cornwall just as earlier residents and visitors have since it was constructed in 1864.
Cornwall is an ideal place from which to travel to many nearby activities. It is only a short drive to The Racetrack in Lime Rock, the TriArts Playhouse in Sharon, the bustling art galleries in Kent, and Music Mountain in Falls Village. Cornwall is truly at the center of things while still maintaining a quiet countenance that is both relaxing and restorative.
